Dr. Alex Kazemi a world recognized Micro Technologist, and materials scientist is the CEO and President of ARK International LLC is focusing on development of fiber optics, miniaturized fiber components, fiber optic sensors, and micro/nano technology of laser components for aviation, aerospace and space applications. He is developer of the lightest fiber optic cable in aviation history, World 1stfiber optic sensor for rocket engine, U.S. 1stfiber optic delivery system for micro welding oflaser chips, and leading-edge technologies. He is The Boeing Company Fiber Optic Architect, Associate Technical Fellow, and worked for 25 years for Boeing as well as 10 years for telecom, lasers, sensors, and MEMS industries. He also taught physics and materials science for several years at University of Southern California. Currently he is the Principal Consultant for development of new generation of fiber optics and sensors to the Boeing Company. Shu-Chun, Chu, Professor, Professor of Department of Physics, National Cheng Kung University. Shu-Chu Chu graduated in Physics from the National Kaohsiung Normal University, Taiwan, and received her MS and Ph.D. degree in Electro-optical engineering from the National Chiao-Tung University (the current National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University), Taiwan, where she is now a Professor at the Physics Department, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. Since 2006 to present, she has been engaged in intracavity beam selection for solid-state lasers, surface plasma manipulation, laser beam shaping, and image/non-image optical design at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. Her recent research interests are related to optical design, digital optics, and intra-cavity beam selection in solid-state lasers. She has published about 40 refereed journal papers and has several patents on optical system design and laser system design.

After graduated from Department of Astronomy, Nanjing University at 1960, Qiu-he Peng was a teacher at Peking University for 18 years and then is teaching at Nanjing University. Q. Peng is mainly engaged in nuclear astrophysics, particle astrophysics and galactic astronomy research. In the field of nuclear astrophysics, Peng's researches involve neutron stars (pulsars), the supernova explosion mechanism and the thermonuclear reaction inside the star, the synthesis of heavy elements and interstellar radioactive element such as the origin of celestial 26Al. 235 papers of him have be published. In recent 10 years, his works are mainly on the astrophysics with both particle physics and condensed matter physics.

Dr. Ren-Min Ma, professor of physics, Peking University. Dr. Ma received his PhD degree in Physics from Peking University in 2009. He was a postdoc researcher at UC Berkeley during 2009 to 2014 before joining Peking University as a faculty. His research interests include laser physics, nanophotonics, light-matter interaction, non-Hermitian and topological photonics. He published over 70 peer reviewed papers, including 4 in Science/Nature, 11 in Science/Nature sub-journals, 2 in PRL. In 2021, he received Xplorer Prize, and Early-Career Award in Nanophotonics. In 2022, he received China National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists. In 2023, he received Wang Da-Heng Optics Prize.

Shulin Sun received his Ph. D. degree in the Physics Department of Fudan University in 2009. From 2010 to 2013, he was Postdoctoral Fellow of the Physics Division of National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS) in National Taiwan University. In 2013 he joined the Department of Optical Science and Engineering of Fudan University and has been a full professorsince 2019. His research interests include metamaterials/metasurfaces, plasmonics, and photonic crystals. He has published more than 80 papers in international journals, including Nature Materials, Nano Letters, Advances in Optics and Photonics, Light: Science and Applications, Advanced Science, which are totally cited over 9500 times so far. Thirteen papers are elected as ESI highly cited paper. He won the Second Prize of National Natural Science Award in 2019, the First Prize of Shanghai Natural Science in 2016, the Rising Star of Light in 2020, the Highly Cited Chinese Researchers in 2020, 2021, 2022.

Juan P. Martinez-Pastor is PhD in Physics, Full Professor at the University of Valencia and Director of the Institute of Materials Science (ICMUV). He has led more than30 research projects, among regionals, nationals and Europeans, and recently coordinator of DROP-IT (Drop-on demand flexible Optoelectronics & Photovoltaics by means of Lead-Free halide perovskITes).

Benfeng, BAI, Tenured Professor at Tsinghua University, China Prof. Benfeng Bai received his B.Sc. degree and Ph.D degree in Optical Engineering from Tsinghua University, China, in 2001 and 2006, respectively. From 2006 to 2009, he was a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Physics and Mathematics in University of Joensuu, Finland. In 2009, he became a faculty member in the Department of Precision Instrument in Tsinghua University. He is now the principal investigator of the Nanophotonics Group with research emphases on advanced nano-devices, nano-fabrication and nano-measurement based on near-field optics. He is now the board member of many academic organizations such as the National Technical Committee on Standardization of Nanotechnology of China and the Sino-French Optoelectronics and Photonics International Research Network. He has won the Award of Jin Guofan Young Scholar issued by the China Instrument and Control Society in 2011 and SPIE Community Champion in 2022. He has been a Topical Editor for Optics Letters (2014-2020) and is now a board member of journal Micromachines.

I am an MD, Ph.D., Post Doc in Medical Laser, and Adjunct lecturer at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. I have been using photobiomodulation (PBM) for wound healing particularly nonhealing diabetic wounds and burn ulcers, since 2003. I have published 29 international papers and 2 books in this field. I have run several workshops and training courses on PBM in both academic and non-academic courses and have delivered several oral and poster presentations at international conferences.

Mario F. S. Ferreira graduated in Physics from the University of Porto, Portugal, and received the Ph.D. degree in Physics in 1992 from the University of Aveiro, Portugal, where he is now a Professor at the Physics Department. Between 1990 and 1991 he was at the University of Essex, UK, performing experimental work on external cavity semiconductor lasers and nonlinear optical fiber amplifiers. His research interests have been concerned with the modelling and characterization of multi-section semiconductor lasers for coherent systems, quantum well lasers, optical fiber amplifiers and lasers, soliton propagation, polarization and nonlinear effects in optical fibers. He is actually the leader of the Optics and Optoelectronics Group of the I3N-Institute of Nanostructures, Nano modelling and Nanofabrication. He has written about 400 scientific journal and conference publications, and several books, namely: Optics and Photonics (Lidel, 2003, in Portuguese), Topics of Mathematical Physics (Editora Ciencia Moderna, 2018, Brazil, in Portuguese), Optical Fibers: Technology, Communications and recent Advances (Ed., NOVA Science Publishers, 2017), Advances in Optoelectronic Technology and Industry Development (CRC Press, 2019), Nonlinear Effects in Optical Fibers (John Wiley & Sons, OSA, 2011) and Optical Signal Processing in Highly Nonlinear Fibers (CRC Press, 2020). Dror Malka received his BSc and MSc degrees in electrical engineering from the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT) in 2008 and 2010, respectively, in Israel. He also completed a BSc degree in Applied Mathematics at HIT in 2008 and received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Bar-Ilan University (BIU) in 2015, Israel. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering at HiT. His primary research fields are nanophotonics, super-resolution, silicon photonics, and fiber optics. He has published around 50 refereed journal papers and 50 conference proceedings papers.

Chen Liu received the Ph.D. degree from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2004. From 2006 to 2019, he was with the School of Optical and Electronic Information, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, as an associate professor. Since 2019, he has been a Professor with the School of Optical and Electronic Information and the Jinyinhu Laboratory, Wuhan, China. His research interests include free-space optical communication and optical phased array.

Chen Jimin, born in 1965, is a professor at Beijing University of Technology. He served as the director of the 3D Printing Center at this university. He is a member of the Standardization Committee of China Additive Manufacturing (SAC/TC 562). He is also a member of the Special Processing Committee of the China Mechanical Engineering Society. In 1986, he obtained his bachelor's degree in ME from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and his master's degree in engineering in 1989. He obtained his doctoral degree in optical engineering in 2001 from Beijing University of Technology. In 2000, he went to Ravensburg, Germany, to do his CAM programming work and develop laser-cutting CAM. After graduation, he stayed at the university and did his research, including laser processing, laser rapid prototyping, and laser micromanufacturing. In 2011, he went to the State University of New York at Buffalo as a visiting professor for one year. In 2018, he went to Boston University as a senior visiting professor. He participated in and finished more than ten research projects, including those of the National Nature Science Foundation of China. He published more than 200 papers, obtained more than 30 patents, and published five books. In 2016, he won the China Industry-University Research Cooperation Innovation Award. In 2020, he won the Award for Invention Entrepreneurship Achievement of the China Association of Invention. In 2022, he won the second Beijing Science and Technology Award.

Aristides Marcano Olaizola received his Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematical Sciences from Moscow State University, M. V. Lomonosov, Moscow, Russia, 1980. He worked in the Venezuelan Institution of Scientific Research, Caracas, Venezuela, from 1980 to 2006. He joined Delaware State University, Dover, Delaware, United States of America, in 2006, where he currently has an appointment as a Research Professor. His field of expertise is Nonlinear Optics and Laser Spectroscopy, where he has published extensively. His contributions are well-cited (H-index - 21, according to Google Scholar). He developed new applications of photothermal spectroscopy, polarization spectroscopy, four-wave-mixing, fluorescence, and Raman spectroscopy. Lately, Dr. Marcano has worked on Raman photoexcitation of singlet oxygen. Singlet oxygen is an excited oxygen molecule with remarkable applications in Photochemistry and Photobiology. The regular procedure for singlet oxygen photoproduction requires the presence of photosensitizer molecules. Dr. Marcano's proposed Raman method eliminates the need for photosensitizers, avoiding any secondary effect due to their presence. The new way promises a better understanding of the photo-physics of singlet oxygen, developing original approaches for virus, bacteria, and fungi inactivation in biosamples.

Dr. Jian Liu He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He led Lucent/Bell Labs L-band Erbium-doped fiber (EDF) development and successfully developed the L-band EDF with the highest pump power conversion efficiency. He invented and commercialized a variety of fs fiber lasers and material processing. He also pioneered pulsed laser based AM. His research interest cover AM & SM, fiber lasers, EDFA, optoelectronic interconnects, mode locked fiber lasers, wavelength division demultiplexer, holography, optical networks, ellipsometry, polarization optics, diffractive optics, optical properties of surfaces, IR radiometry, optical thin films, optical instrumentation. He has authored over 60 publications and over 38 patents, given numerous invited talks. He is a co-chair of Photonics West committees for 3D Laser Manufacturing and Fiber Lasers. He is a member of SPIE, OSA, IEEE, AAAS, and Sigma Xi.

Pedro Chamorro-Posada obtained the Telecommunications Engineering Degree (Premio Extraordinario) in 1992 and the Ph.D. in 1995, both from the University of Vigo. He was an academic visitor at the Laser Optics Group of the Imperial College of London for twelve months during 1995-1996. From 1996 until 2011 he was Associate Professor at the Department of Signal Theory and Communications at the University of Valladolid where he is a Professor since 2011. He is currently Coordinator of the Photonics, Quantum Information and Electromagnetic Radiation and Scattering Group (GFOR) at the University of Valladolid. He has published 125 scientific articles in JCR journals. His main contributions include the development of a full Helmholtz theory for optical solitons Also, the proposal of new schemes for photon based quantum computation and quantum communication. Within the realm of integrated photonics, he has contributed to the field of microring coupled resonator optical waveguides. He has also proposed new waveguide geometries for ultra-compact fully dielectric polarizers and Q-enhanced racetrack microresonators demonstrated in the silicon nitride platform. He has contributed to the development, characterization and modeling using quantum chemistry tools of new lanthanide coordination complexes suitable as emitter materials in the telecom windows and graphenic and graphitic carbon-nitrogen materials with potential as 2D materials in optoelectronic applications. Other research topics include THz spectroscopy, cryptographic systems based on ultra-long fiber lasers and solitons in dispersion managed optical fiber links.

Xiong Zhao Associate research fellow, Research Center of Laser Fusion, China Academy of Engineering Physics. Graduated in Engineering Physics from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. The objectives of his research are (I) to understand assembly, installation and integration of large laser facility, (II) to develop key processes and tools forming the foundation for High Power Laser Facility's long-term LRU production and maintenance strategy and (III) to explore multi-step alignments and close-loop of "assembly-measurement -adjustment".

Dr. Lin Zhou is a Professor in College of Engineering and Applied Sciences of Nanjing University in China. She received her Ph.D. degree in Department of Physics of Nanjing University in 2012 and visited Columbia University during 2018 to 2019. She has published more than 80 peer-reviewed journals (including Nature, Nature Photonics, Nature Materials, etc.) thus far. She has delivered more than 20 invited talks in academic conferences in the past years. Her research interest lies in low-loss plasmonics and metamaterials for next generation information and/or energy devices.

Prof. Christos RIZIOTIS is a Principal Researcher / Research Assoc. Professor at the Theoretical and Physical Chemistry Institute of the National Hellenic Research Foundation -NHRF, Athens, Greece where he is leading the activity "Applied Photonics-Materials and Devices". Dr. Riziotis is also Honorary DSRI Fellow of the Defense and Security Research Institute, University of Nicosia, Cyprus. He holds a Ph.D. in Photonics from Optoelectronics Research Centre, University of Southampton, UK, A M.Sc. in Electronics and Telecommunications and a Degree in Physics both from National University of Athens. His research interests cover the areas of photonic materials, integrated optics, direct laser writing, fibre sensors, optical communications, nanophotonics, plasmonics, and quantum photonics. His work has led to a number of successfully demonstrated applications in defence industry, Structural Health Monitoring, industrial process monitoring, chemical sensors and biomedical / healthcare devices. He has participated or developed a number of collaborations and R&D projects with industry (Pirelli Cavi, Southampton Photonics, Stratophase, MBDA Missile Systems, Kleemann Lifts S.A., Opticon S.A., Bayern Chemie Propellants GmbH etc). He has authored a wide thematic range of over 100 publications in Journals and international conference proceedings, holding also four patents. He is reviewer in over 50 technical Journals, committee member in a number of international conferences, editorial board member and Guest editor in several Journals in sensors, materials and instrumentation. He serves also as Management Committee Member for a number of research academic networks like COST Actions in the areas of sensing, novel materials, manufacturing, and healthcare, while served also as expert in the IEC Standardization Committee for Fibre Optic Sensors.

Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and he has been retired due to the age limit of 67, following academic life of 45 years. He published over 80 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 120 conferences and symposia in international and national level as Plenary Speaker, Keynote Speaker, Invited speaker, speaker or Poster presenter. He served the program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these activities. In particular, he joined in last six years (2014 - 2019) over 60 conferences as Speaker, Keynote Speaker and Conference Co-Chair organized by different companies in different countries. Additionally, he retired at the end of November 2019, and contributed with Keynote/Plenary Speeches over 120 Virtual/Webinar Conferences, due to the coronavirus outbreak in three year of his retirement, 2020 and 2022. Dr. Adiguzel served his directorate of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Firat University in 1999-2004. He supervised 5 PhD- theses and 3 M. Sc theses. He is also technical committee member of many conferences. He received a certificate which is being awarded to him and his experimental group in recognition of significant contribution of 2 patterns to the Powder Diffraction File – Release 2000. The ICDD (International Centre for Diffraction Data) also appreciates cooperation of his group and interest in Powder Diffraction File. Scientific fields of Dr. Adiguzel: Shape memory effect and displacive phase transformations in shape memory alloys and other alloys, molecular dynamics simulations, alloy modeling, electron microscopy, electron diffraction, x-ray diffraction and crystallography.

Behnam Khosrozadeh was born in East Azerbaijan Province, Iran in 1981. He received the B.S. degree from the Amir Kabir University of Technology of Iran (Polytechnic), Tehran, Iran in 2003 and the M.S. degree from the Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran in 2005, both in mechanical engineering. He received the Ph.D. Degree from Tabriz University in 2017. His research interests include advanced machining, control engineering, and energy production.
