Poul Erik Hansen is a Professor at the Department of Science and Environment, Roskilde University, Denmark. Special interests are Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and Infra-Red spectroscopy, theoretical calculations, isotope effects, hydrogen bonding, natural products, and studies of biologically important compounds and polycyclic aromatics. Among natural products, humic substances and their interactions with environmental pollutants do play a special role. Development of inexpensive methods to detect heavy metals and pesticides in drinking water, methods to be used in developing countries.

Dr. Bing Chen is UArctic Research Chair in Marine and Coastal Environmental Engineering, Professor in Environmental Engineering, Director of Northern Region Persistent Organic Pollution Control (NRPOP) Lab, and Associate Dean of the Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. He also serves as the founding Director of a global Network on Persistent, Emerging, and Organic Pollution in the Environment (PEOPLE Network). He is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE), the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC), and the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE), and a Member of the Royal Society of Canada (RSC) (College) and the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASA). He is an internationally recognized leader in environmental engineering research and applications, particularly in oil spill response and clean-up, persistent and emerging contaminants studies, marine and coastal pollution mitigation, water and wastewater treatment, AI-aided decision-making, cold region and climate change studies, and environmental sustainability. He has authored/co-authored over 500 technical publications and 8 patents and disclosures and trained over 80 thesis-based graduate students and postdocs. He has served as Affiliated Faculty with the University of California Berkeley, Senior Advisor of the UN Development Programme (UNDP), Vice-President of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) and Canadian Association on Water Quality (CAWQ), Editor-in-Chief of Environmental Systems Research (Springer), Associate Editor and Editorial Board Member of over 10 refereed journals, etc. As a registered Professional Engineer in Canada, he has provided his advisory services to government, industry, NGOs, and communities globally.

Prof./Dr. Yaqian Zhao is a Fellow member of IWA (Int. Wat. Assoc.) and a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Municipal and Environmental Engineering, Xi'an University of Technology, China, since Jan. 2019 while he was a faculty member at University College Dublin, Ireland, from 2004 to 2018. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Strathclyde in Scotland and a Postdoc at Queen's University of Belfast in Northern Ireland. His research interests are among the areas of constructed wetlands, nutrient removal, sludge conditioning, dewatering, and beneficial reuses. He is an active researcher at the international level and a world-leading expert in constructed wetlands for wastewater treatment. He is one of the founder members of "Waste and Biomass Valorization" (Springer) and served as associate editor or editorial board member of 9 international journals. He has published over 400 research papers while delivering nearly 100 talks at various international conferences. In 2021, he received the "Shamrock Environmental Awards" in Ireland.

Professor Hai Guo completed his Ph.D. study in Australia. He is currently a Professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). Prof. Guo's research interests include atmospheric chemistry, organic aerosols and their precursors, ozone pollution, bioaerosol transmission, and indoor chemistry. He is among the first to have developed a photochemical trajectory model and a photochemical box model to understand atmospheric ozone formation in Asia. He is also the first person in Hong Kong to establish a world-class laboratory instrument system to analyze trace volatile organic compounds (VOCs). He has developed offline and semi-online samplers for measuring ambient acidic ultrafine particles. Prof. Guo is an investigator of more than 70 research projects. He has published about 180 papers, with an h-index of 57 on Google Scholar and 52 on Scopus. He has been ranked the World's Top 2% Highly Cited Scientist in Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences in 2020-2022. Prof. Guo is the VOC expert group member of the World Meteorological Organization - Global Atmosphere Watch. Furthermore, Prof. Guo is the Associate Editor of Science of the Total Environment and Editor of Aerosol and Air Quality Research. Prof. Guo has won many prizes including a second prize in natural science issued by China's Ministry of Education, first prize in science and technology in Guangdong province, a golden medal, and a special merit award at the 71st International Trade Fair for Ideas, Inventions & New Products in Germany, and eight-time Dean awards for outstanding research and publication at PolyU. Prof. Guo has given keynotes and invited speeches at a number of international conferences and been a member of the Scientific Advisor Committee at many conferences.

Professor Hongchen Jiang, State Key Laboratory of Biogeology and Environmental Geology, China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, China. In 2007 he graduated from the Department of Geology & Environmental Earth Science at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, USA. His research expertise is in the geomicrobiology of extreme environments such as saline environments and hot springs.

Dr. David Galan-Madruga is a scientific researcher (from 2004 up to nowadays) in the Department of Atmospheric Pollution (National Reference Laboratory for Air Quality in Spain) of the National Center for Environmental Health (Health Institute Carlos III), is the head of the functional unit in that Department and holds a Ph.D. in Inorganic and Bioinorganic Chemistry by Complutense University of Madrid (Mention of European Doctorate). Similarly, He is an expert in instrumental techniques by the Faculty of Chemical Sciences (Complutense University of Madrid) and holds a Master's in Computer Science and Management as well as 31 specific courses. Dr. Galan has published more than 154 scientific-technical reports as well as more than 25 oral communications at international congresses, including air quality issues. He has served as a member of the Directive Board of a Scientific Society such Spanish Society for Environment Health (2013-2017), a member of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN/TC 264 "Air Quality"), a member of Workgroups for developing European Normative Projects such as WG21 "UNE-EN 15549:2008 Standard" and WG 34 "Determination of anions and cautions in ambient air", member of Scientific and Management Committees in Scientific Congresses, member of Expert Committee for air quality assessment during a large fire at a used tire landfill, as well as a member of the board of national competitive exams in the field of research for Research Public Organizations on numerous occasions (2006-2017). Nowadays, he is a member of the Technical-Scientific Committee for RELAB (Network of Biological Alert Laboratories). Dr. Galan has been part of the Teacher's Board in courses and masters of environmental techniques and air pollution. In research, he has been the main researcher of 3 research projects and was included in the research team of numerous international research projects and contracts with the Public Administration. Dr. Galan has been responsible for the validation process and subsequent accreditation by ENAC (National Accreditation Entity for Spain) of more than 50 parameters.

Kinga Stuper-Szablewska, profesor on Poznan University of Life Sciences in Department of Chemistry (Poland). M.Sc. in chemistry and physics. Ph.D. in agricultural sciences in the field of food technology and nutrition, the Poznan University of Life Sciences. Head of Natural Products Chemistry Team. Awarded eleven times with the PULS Rector awards for scientific accomplishments documented with publications. In 2010 awarded for scientific and teaching accomplishments with the award of the Members of The Faculty of Agricultural, Forestry and Veterinary Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences for Young, Active Researchers-Pro Scientia et Vitae. Received funds from several agencies, including National Science Center, Poland. Participated in international grants under Horizon Europe, leader of research teams in these grants. Areas of scientific interest: chemical hazards in food chain production, microscopic fungi, and mycotoxins in the plant and animal production chain. Principal investigator in the grant about composting as a method of recovery of wood waste materials. Among scientific interests, focuses mainly on the risks associated with environmental pollution in the context of food safety.

Dr. Shenbin Cao is a Professor in the College of Architecture and Civil Engineering at Beijing University of Technology, China. He is also an Alexander Humboldt research fellow (2021-2023) at the Chair of Urban Water Systems Engineering, Technical University of Munich (TUM). He obtained his Ph.D. degree in municipal engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology in 2018 and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research for approximately three years at the Nanyang Environment and Water Research Institute (NEWRI), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Dr. Cao's research interests primarily revolve around the development of cost-effective anammox processes for wastewater nitrogen removal, as well as anaerobic technologies for resource and energy recovery from waste-activated sludge. He has an extensive publication record, as the first author or independent corresponding author, he has contributed to 30 SCI papers (JCR-Q1) in top journals such as Water Research and Environmental Science & Technology. Additionally, he has co-authored more than 20 SCI papers. Four of his publications have been recognized as "ESI Highly Cited Papers." Dr. Cao's research has garnered significant attention, with over 3600 citations on Google Scholar and an H-index of 29. In addition to his research achievements, Dr. Cao has applied for 10 national invention patents and received numerous prestigious honors and awards. Notably, in 2018, he was awarded the Oguno Scholarship in Water Quality and Water Environment. And in 2017, Dr. Cao was honored with the Shanghai Tongji Gao Tingyao Young Doctoral Talent Award.

Hosam Saleh is a professor of radioactive waste management at the Radioisotope Department, Atomic Energy Authority, Egypt. He was awarded MSc and Ph.D. degrees in Physical Chemistry from Cairo University. Saleh has more than 25 years of experience in hazardous waste management with an emphasis on treatment and developing new matrixes for the immobilization of these wastes. He is also interested in studying innovative economic and environment-friendly techniques for the management of hazardous and radioactive wastes. He authored many peer-reviewed scientific papers and chapters and served as a Book Editor of several books related to international publishers. He has been selected among the top 2% of scientists in the world according to the Stanford University report for 2020, 2021 and 2022. He is also a reviewer, an Editor in Chief or Associate Editor for different journals as well as a member of the Technical Program Committee for international conferences. He gained the Scientific Encouragement Award from Atomic Energy Authority (2013), the Encouragement Prize in Advanced Technical Sciences from the Academy of Scientific Research (2014).

Dr. Daniel Viúdez-Moreiras is an atmospheric and instrument scientist with wide experience in the field of modeling and simulation, as well as data processing and analysis. He has authored several refereed scientific articles and conference papers on atmospheric and planetary sciences. His research activities are developed through Centro de Astrobiologia (CAB), CSIC-INTA. He is a team member of the three NASA robotic missions currently operating on the Martian surface (Mars Science Laboratory, InSight and Mars 2020).

Ana Monterio was born in Porto, she is a Full Professor at the Department of Geography at the University of Porto, a member, and researcher at the Institute of Public Health at the University of Porto (ISPUP), a member of the Research Center for Territory, Transport and Environment (CITTA) and collaborator at the Center of Geography and Spatial Planning Studies (CEGOT). She has a degree in geography, a postgraduate degree in Environmental Impact Assessment from the University of Aberdeen (UK), and a degree in physical geography from the University of Porto. She obtained her Ph.D. in Physical Geography at the University of Porto in 1993, where she also completed her aggregation in 2004. She has been the Auditor of National Defense since 2001. between 2003 and 2005. She is a national representative in several Cost Actions and has collaborated with the European Commission as part of the panel of evaluators of the 7th Framework Program and H2020 in Climate Change, Nature Solutions, and Public Health. It has also integrated the FCT evaluators panels and similar institutions in other countries. She also held the position of chairman of assessment juries of the Higher Education Assessment and Accreditation Agency (A3ES). Since 2009, she belongs to the Scientific Committee of the Climatology Group of the International Geographical Union (UGI). Since 2010, she has been Director of the Master's Degree in Risks, Cities, and Spatial Planning and is currently a member of the Scientific Committee. Since 2022 she has been the Director of the International Master in Cities Challenges. She is a member of the scientific committee of the Doctorate Course in Geography and was a professor of the Doctorates in Public Health at UP and Global Public Health at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She has been a visiting professor at several national and foreign universities. She has been a coordinator and researcher in more than 30 national and international scientific research projects funded by the Science and Technology Foundation, European Science Foundation, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Luso-American Foundation for Development, NATO, EEAGrants, University of Porto, University of Sao Paulo, State University of Sao Paulo, CNRS, Ministere des Affaires Etrangeres Francais, and British Council. She teaches and conducts research since 1983 in the areas of urban climatology, bioclimatology, agro climatology, environmental impact assessment, atmospheric pollution, geopolitics, health and quality of life, and urban planning, seeking, whenever possible, to transfer the results of research to society as expressed by the more than 20 books and book chapters published, the 70 articles in national and international journals and the approximately 120 abstracts in national and international conference proceedings. She supervised and co-supervised more than 60 national and foreign post-doctoral, doctoral, and master students. It has participated in more than 40 projects to provide services to the community within the scope of Environmental Impact Assessment and Strategic Environmental Assessment, Territorial Planning, and Ordainment, most recently the collaboration in defining the AMP 2020 Strategy and, currently for AMP2030, in the Revision of the PDM of CM Porto (dimension urban climate, air, water, soil, and noise), and the coordination of the Porto Metropolitan Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change, of the Climate Zoning Charter of Vila Nova de Gaia, for the Creation of the Environmental Index Regulation for Porto.

Lesly Analay Yanes Simon was born in the central region of the Cuba province of Sancti Spiritus. She is 30 years old. She studied at FAME Escambray Mountain Agricultural School located in Topes de Collantes and she finished her studies in agronomy engineering at the university of Sancti Spiritus Jose Marti Perez in the year 2015. Currently, she is doing his master's degree at Paulista State University Julio de Mezquita Filho, Vegetable Production, located in Jaboticabal Municipality of Sao Paulo country Brazil. She worked as I worked as a Trichoderma quality control specialist in a CREE Center for entomophagous and entomopathogens in the municipality of Cabaiguan, working for 2 years, then later she moved to municipal soil specialist in the Municipal Delegation of Agriculture.

Katalin Bodor, scientific researcher at the Institute for Research and Development in Game Management and Mountain Resources Miercurea Ciuc. She obtained his bachelor's degree in food industry engineering at Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania (2011) and then studied biotechnology at the University of Transylvania in Brasov (2013). Following that, she gained extensive professional experience in the beer industry. Her doctoral dissertation was defended at the University of Pecs in 2023, titled "Spatial and temporal distribution of dust (PM2.5, PM10) trace element concentrations (As, Cd, Ni, Pb) and the impact on human health in Romania". She has published numerous scientific articles in renowned journals in the environmental and food chemistry area. She is the mother of two cute little boys.

Dr. Jaan H. Pu is an Associate Professor at the University of Bradford, UK. His research focuses on modeling and laboratory approaches to represent various water engineering applications which include water quality, rainwater, sediment deposition and erosion, naturally compound riverine flow, and vegetated flow. His research outputs have led to several peer-reviewed journal articles (60+), conference proceedings (10+), books (5), and book chapters (2). Currently at Bradford, Jaan has supervised several Ph.D. (7) under industrial and council-funded projects to investigate river hydrodynamics, sediment transport, and water quality challenging applications. He has been appointed as the Associate Editor by Frontiers in Environmental Science (Impact Factor 5.411) and by Frontiers in Built Environment (CiteScore 3.4). He has also Leading/Guest Editing various Special Issues (7) for MDPI Fluids, MDPI Water, Frontiers in Environmental Science, and Frontiers in Built Environment. He is also a Visiting Scientist at Tsinghua University, China, and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Prof. Perihan Kurt-Karakus She completed her MSc. at Lancaster University-UK as a British Council-Turkish Education Foundation scholar and then completed her Ph.D. at Lancaster University-UK as a Universities UK fellowship holder. After completion of a post-doctoral research at the Center for Atmospheric Research Experiments-CARE of Environment and Climate Change Canada between 2006 and 2009, she worked as a Research Scientist at the Center for Canada Inland Waters Section of Environment and Climate Change Canada between 2009-2011. Dr. Kurt-Karakus has worked at Bursa Technical University since 2013. Currently, she is a Faculty Member of the Department of Environmental Engineering and she is currently employed as the Department Head. Her research interests are among the areas of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and inorganic micropollutants, their occurrence, transport, and fate in the environmental compartments. Her expertise covers active and passive air sampling techniques, indoor and ambient air quality assessment, laboratory and GC-MS, LC-MS-MS, and ICP-MS analysis of POPS and heavy metals.

Parisa Akbari Dana - PhD student in Environmental Engineering at Eskisehir Technical University, Turkiye. Her research area is airborne microplastics/nanoplastics as an emerging contaminant of concern and health risk assessment. Eftade O. Gaga is a professor at Eskisehir Technical University. She received her MSc and PhD degrees in Chemistry from Middle East Technical University, Turkiye. She is interested in environmental analytical chemistry, persistent organic pollutants, passive sampling of air pollutants, and more recently atmospheric micro (nano) plastics. Kadir Gedik is a professor at Eskisehir Technical University. He received his MSc and PhD degrees in Environmental Engineering from Middle East Technical University, Turkiye. He is interested in environmental chemistry, trace organics pollution (POPs), and currently in environmental microplastics.

Sevgi Sumerli Sarigul is an associate professor at Kayseri University Social Sciences of Vocational School. Dr. Sevgi Sumerli Sarigul completed her university education in Kayseri, Erciyes University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration, and completed a master's degree in Gazi University foreign trade program and a doctorate in Erciyes University Social Sciences Institute Accounting and Finance Department. Her research interests are accounting, finance, performance, strategic management approaches, sustainable development, financial development, and foreign trade. Rim Katlane is a research professor holding a Ph.D. and the position of associate professor in geomatics, specializing in remote sensing and data analysis at the Faculty of Letters, Arts, and Humanities (FLAH) at the University of Manouba. Her academic journey led her to complete her thesis in ocean optical remote sensing at the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical, and Natural Sciences of Tunis. With a solid foundation in the field, Dr. Katlane is currently dedicated to cutting-edge research, particularly in the processing of multisource satellite data for mapping and spatiotemporal analysis of information. She has expanded her expertise through in-depth research and publications in areas such as ocean optics, remote sensing, and geosystem modeling. Beyond her academic commitment, Dr. Katlane distinguishes herself as a passionate advocate for the scientific community. She is the founder and treasurer of the Scientific and Technical Association for Water and Environment in Tunisia (ASTEETUNISIE), demonstrating her active involvement in promoting environmental and water sciences.

Dr. Yuming Chen received his Ph.D. from Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). During his Ph.D. study, he was a visiting student in Prof. John B. Goodenough's group at The University of Texas at Austin. After his graduation, he became a postdoctoral researcher at PolyU (2014, 2016-2018), NTU (2015-2016), and MIT (2016-2020). He joined Fujian Normal University in 2020 as a full professor. His research includes materials sciences, solid-state Li metal batteries, and in situ characterization. He won the National Young Talents Program and the Hong Kong Young Scientist Award. Currently, he has published over 50 papers as the first/corresponding author, including Nature, Chem, Science Advances, Nature Communications, JACS, ACIE, and EES. His work has been highlighted by Science, MIT News, and U.S. DOE. He also serves as a reviewer for more than 60 Journals such as AM, Nature Communications, and Chem.

Rana Waqar Aslam currently works at the State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping, and Remote Sensing (LIESMARS), Wuhan University, China. Rana Waqar Aslam does research in Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, and Geographical Information Systems. He is working on Multiple Satellite Data, i.e. - Multispectral, Hyperspectral, SAR images, Landsat, MODIS, SRTM and etc. His research outputs have led to several peer-reviewed journal articles (30+), and conference proceedings (3+). Currently at Wuhan University, Aslam is working under China scholarship council funding projects to investigate wetland changes in Pakistan with remote sensing applications. He has been appointed as the reviewer by Frontiers in Environmental Science (Impact Factor 5.411) and by Frontiers in Built Environment (Cite Score 3.4). He has also a volunteer reviewer for MDPI Remote Sensing.

Prof. Karmaoui Ahmed started his academic career as a Research Fellow at Cadi Ayyad University, earning his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Sciences Semlalia. He is a Member of the Asian Council of Science Editors. With an extensive portfolio, he has reviewed manuscripts for more than 50 international journals, graduating from the Publons Academy and achieving recognition as a Top 1% international Reviewer in 2018 by Publons (Web of Science). Karmaoui's contributions extend beyond peer reviews; he has authored numerous articles in esteemed international journals and contributed chapters and books on diverse environmental topics in renowned publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Routledge, Frontiers, mdpi, and IGI Global. Currently serving as the President of the Moroccan Center for Culture and Science, Morocco, Karmaoui is also a dedicated lecturer at Moulay Ismail University in Meknes, Morocco.

Luigi Vesce is a Senior Researcher and Lecturer of Nanoelectronics at CHOSE (Centre for Hybrid and Organic Solar Energy), Department of Electronic Engineering, University of Rome Tor Vergata, where he received a Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering and Microelectronics in 2011. In the last few years, he developed a pilot line for a public/private consortium (Dye power) to produce 10000 m2/year of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) panels for BIPVs (Building Integrated Photovoltaic). He collaborates with research institutes and startup/spin-off companies on third-generation PV devices and process engineering, and on quality control optimization. Recently, he was the technology transfer responsible for DSSC modules with Start-up G+Lyte (Amiens, France). His research activity deals with the discovery, development, and fabrication by coating/printing techniques, and scaling-up of efficient and stable dye-sensitized and perovskite solar technologies for outdoor and indoor applications. He is involved in national and international PV-related projects, author of several contributions to international journals and conferences, and committee member/chairman of conferences about renewable energies.

Giuseppe Pulighe is working in the field of Agronomy, Bioenergy, Land Use Change Impacts, Irrigation and Water Management, Remote Sensing, and Spatio-ecological modeling. Research activities and expertise covers modeling cropping systems; ecosystem services; soil erosion and nutrient loading in ago-ecosystems; integrated catchment management; land use/cover classification and modeling; mapping with GIS; urban agriculture. He has authored or co-authored over 60 journal publications and conference contributions. Regularly serves as a reviewer for international journals in the field of Earth observation, GIS, land use, and environmental sciences.

Tommaso Caloiero graduated in Civil Engineering (specialization in Hydraulic) from the University of Calabria. He received a Second level Master's Degree in Mathematical Modelling of Hydrogeological Disaster from the same University and a Ph.D. in Hydraulic Engineering from the Politecnico of Milan. Since June 2011, he has been a researcher at the National Research Council of Italy- Institute for Agricultural and Forest Systems in the Mediterranean (CNR-ISAFOM), where he is currently a Member of the Institute Council and Scientific Responsible of the Bonis basin experimental site for the Hydrological and Hydraulic Studies. Featured on Stanford University's list of the World’s Top 2% Scientists in 2022. Since April 2018, he has been a Member of the Scientific Board of the Ph.D. in Sciences and Environmental Engineering, Construction, and Energy at the University of Calabria. Moreover, for the same PhD, since 2019 he has been the responsible teacher for the Ph.D. Course "Climate Change Analysis". He is Scientific Coordinator for the National Research Council (CNR) for Goal 3.2 -Pilot Project 1 -Spoke 3 of the projects Technologies for climate change adaptation and quality of life improvement (Tech4You). He has been AI of the projects "ERA-NET COFUND WATERWORKS 2015 "Innovative Options for Integrated Water Resources Management in the Mediterranean (INNOMED)" and "PRIN 2015 - Reconciling precipitation with runoff: the role of understated measurement biases in the modeling of hydrological processes". His research interests include Hydrology, Climatology, Climate Change, Natural Hazards, Hydrologic and Water Resource Modelling and Simulation, Geographic Information Systems, Environmental Engineering, Ecological Engineering, Land Use Change, and Forest Ecology. He published more than 90 scientific papers in international academic journals (Scopus citations: 2079 / h-index:27), and more than 200 papers considering books and conference proceedings. He is Section Editor-in-Chief (Hydrology-Climate Interactions) for the journal Hydrology, he is Associate Editor for the Euro-Mediterranean Journal for Environmental Integration and he is a member of the Editorial Board for the journals Scientific Reports, Earth, Hydrology and Sustainability.

Asli Ozpolat is an associate professor in the management and organization department at Gaziantep University. She graduated from Cukurova University, Department of Economics. She receives M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in the Department of Economics at Gaziantep University. Her academic studies have focused on political discussions and empirical analysis of various problems under international economics, green economics, and the environment. Besides academic papers, She has three project experiences that were founded by Erasmus + about sustainable cities, vocational education, and digital and green skills.

He has a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Universidad Nacional del Altiplano de Puno-Peru; a Master's degree in Andean Agriculture from the same university; Ph.D. in Sciences in the area of concentration of Applied Ecology from the University of Sao Paulo-Brazil, Post-Doctorate at the Center of Nuclear Energy for Agriculture CENA-USP Brazil; Researcher RENACYT level III, with registration No. P0034915; he was a visiting researcher at the Industrial University of Santander-Colombia, the University of Kagoshima- Japan, and the University of La Rioja -Spain. He carries out research work related to the analysis of residues of pesticides, antibiotics, cyanotoxins, and persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in food and environmental matrices, evaluating their impact on the environment using liquid and gas chromatographic systems coupled with mass analyzers and FLD, UV-DAD and ECD detectors. He has extensive knowledge in quality systems for laboratories: 5-S; ISO 17025:2005 and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) systems, laboratory safety, and radiation protection; he is a member of the Brazilian Society of Mass Spectrometry and the National Association of Biosafety of Brazil. He is currently a Research Professor at the National University of Moquegua.

Andrea Jelinek is a Full Professor at the Geosciences Scholl at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul and a researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development. I am a multidisciplinary Geologist focusing on integrating low-temperature thermo chronology to constrain tectonic and geomorphic processes. I have a special interest in the evolution of the South Atlantic margin and the interactions between climate, tectonics, and erosion. I coordinated and participated in several projects in areas of quantitative geomorphology, isotopic geology, oil and gas, and more recently in environmental geology and renewable energies. My academic experience has been reported in over 150 scientific publications (papers, book chapters, and conference proceedings), and several PhD's and Master's supervisions.

Dr. Julianna Paola Ramirez Lozano PhD in Public Communication and Master in Management of Communication Companies from the University of Navarra, Spain. Magister in Social Management from PUCP, International Diploma in Corporate Communication from ESAN, and Bachelor of Communication from the University of Lima. He has a post-doctoral stay at the University of Malaga, Spain between the months of October and November 2021, an ERASMUS teaching stays at the University of Porto, Portugal in June 2022, and a post-doctoral stay at the University of Pforzheim, Germany in September and October 2022.

Dr. Ourania Tzoraki is an Associate Professor in the Management of the River Basin and Coastal Zone of the Department of Marine Sciences (DMR) at the University of the Aegean. She is coordinating or involved as the main researcher in several national and international research projects related to environmental modeling, coastal mapping and monitoring, and water resources management (i.e. SMIRES, ERMIS-F, ENVIFRIENDLY, MIRAGE, tempQsim). She is the author of more than 150 publications in journals, books, and conference proceedings books (Google Scholar citations: 709 / h-index: 12). She has research/ teaching and supervising experience at the Leibniz Universitat Hannover (DE), Technical University of Crete (GR) (11 yrs), Cyprus University of Technology (CY) (3 yrs), University of Parthenope (IT), Concepcion University (CH) and University of the Aegean (GR). Her research interests include (a) Hydrology and biogeochemistry of Intermittent and Ephemeral Streams (IRES) at the river basin scale, i.e. flash floods, nutrient, and heavy metal pollution, and Climate Change impact; (b) Operational hydrology, i.e. early flood warning system development for IRES, Flow Image Velocimetry using UAVs; (c) Coastal Zone Management (Artificial Aquifer Recharge with treated wastewater, beaches resilience, marinas, and ports environmental management).

Ayse Kurt completed her graduation from Bursa Uludag University, Faculty of Engineering, and Department of Environmental Engineering in 2009. and, she completed her Master's in Bursa Uludag University Science Institute Environmental Engineering Department in 2012 and my Ph.D. degree in Bursa Uludag University Science Institute Environmental Engineering Department in 2018. In addition, she worked as a researcher at Duzce University Scientific and Technological Research Application and Research Center between 2013-2022. And also she studied as a postdoctoral researcher at Bursa Uludag University as a postdoctoral researcher between 2020-2022. Now she is studying at Bursa Uludag University, Environmental Engineering, and Turkey. She actively worked with liquid chromatography (LC-DAD, LC-RF, LC-RID, UPLC-RF, and LC-MS/MS) devices related to environmental pollution and food quality and pollutants. I also studied various scientific research projects about water/wastewater treatment, determination of water and soil quality, etc. She has experience in Laboratory Competence TSEN17025 Quality Management System. My research articles published in 5 international refereed journals, 6 original research articles in national journals, and 3 international book chapters. Have national and international congress experience; there are 4 international and 1 national congress paper.
