Nikolaos K. Spyrou is Professor of Astronomy at the Aristoteleion University of Thessaloniki, Greece, from which he is retired since 2011. His research articlesand books belong to General Relativity Theory, Fluids, Gravitational Astrophysics, Environnemental Physis (and, secondarily, Space Physics, History of Astronomy, and Science Education). He has taught extensively at both the under graduated and post graduated levels, conducted research work and lectured in many universities and research centers in Greece and abroad, and, also, served in many national and international administrational-scientific posts.
Prof. Litao Sun received his PhD from the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005. He worked as a research fellow at University of Mainz, Germany from 2005 to 2008, and a visiting professor at University of Strasbourg, France from 2009 to 2010. Since 2008, he joined SEU and honored as a Distinguished Professor. He currently serves as the head of School of Electronic Science and Engineering, Southeast University (SEU), the director of SEU-FEI Nano-Pico center, the director of Center for Advanced Materials and Manufacture, Joint Research Institute of Southeast University and Monash University. He is the founding chairman of IEEE Nanotechnology Council Nanjing Chapter. He is the author and co-author of around 200 papers on international journals including 2 in Science, 13 in Nature and Nature series journals, etc. He holds around 80 patents and has given more than 160 invited presentations. He is the Review Panel member of Graphene Flagship, European Union and Member of European Science Foundation College of Expert Reviewers. He has obtained National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of China, New Century Excellent Talents in University, Young Leading Talent in Science and Technology Innovation, Cheung Kong Scholar Chair Professor from Ministry of Education etc.

Professor Prashant Kumar is Chair in Air Quality and Health and the founding Director of the Global Centre for Clean Air Research (GCARE) at the University of Surrey, UK. He is the Head of the GCARE’s Air Quality Laboratory and the Deputy Director of Research for the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering. Since March 2018, he is also an Adjunct Professor at the School of Engineering at the Trinity College Dublin in Ireland. He received his PhD (Engineering) from the University of Cambridge, and an MTech (Environmental Engineering & Management) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. Prior to his PhD, he worked at a research instutute and in industrial sector for about 8 years. After his PhD, he joined University of Surrey as Lecturer (2009-2012), and subsequently worked as Senior Lecturer (2012-2015) and Reader (2015-2017). His fundamental and application oriented crossdisciplinary research is focused at the interfaces of clean air engineering/science, human health and smart/sustainable living in cities/megacities. His research builds an understanding of the formation and emission of particles, both from vehicle exhausts and non-vehicular sources. He investigates their contribution to pollution, especially in megacity contexts. He is developing approaches to low-cost sensing and contributing to the development of exposure control technology and guidelines for policymakers to curtail pollution exposure in cities, with associated health benefits. His current research projects are focused in broad multidisciplinary areas of air pollution monitoring/modelling, low-cost sensing, nature-based solutions, climate change mitigation and developing innovative technological and passive (e.g. green infrastructure) solutions for air pollution exposure control for both developing and developed world.

Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and he has been retired due to the age limit of 67; following academic life of 45 years. Sam Vaknin is the originator of the Chronon Field Theory in 1982-4 He is a Visiting Professor of Psychology, Southern Federal University, Rostov-on-Don, Russia and Professor of Finance and Psychology in CIAPS (Centre for International Advanced and Professional Studies). Sam Vaknin is the author of Malignant Self-love: Narcissism Revisited and other books about personality disorders. His work is cited in hundreds of books and dozens of academic papers. He spent the past 6 years developing Cold Therapy: a treatment modality for Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). Over the years, with dozens of volunteers, he found that it was effective with clients suffering from a major depressive episode as well.
Prof. Bruno Lomonte works at the Instituto Clodomiro Picado, University of Costa Rica (ICP-UCR). His research focuses on the immunological and biochemical characteristics of snake venoms and isolated toxins, with particular interest on myotoxic phospholipases A2, as well as on antivenoms, antibodies, and diverse toxin inhibitors. Currently he is Coordinator of the Proteomics Lab at ICP-UCR, where a number of 'snake venomics' studies have been performed in recent years.
Angyang Yu studied physics at Dalian University of Technology (China) and obtained his B.Sc. in 2003. He received his M.Sc. in 2006 after conducting his master thesis on molecular reaction dynamics in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. After obtaining his Ph.D. degree at Jilin University in China, he was awarded a Postdoctor's Fellowship to study titanium alloys' oxidation at Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include calculations of molecular spectra, chemical kinetics, molecular excited states, molecular reaction dynamics and engineering alloy design.
