Piero Benvenuti is Professor Emeritus of Astrophysics at the University of Padova and has been recently appointed Director of the center of the International Astronomical Union for the protection of the dark and quiet sky from satellite constellation interference. He has been employed by the European Space Agency as IAU Observatory Controller and as Head of the Space Telescope European Coordinating Facility. In Italy, he has been President of the National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF) and Commissioner of the Italian Space Agency. He has been the IAU General Secretary for the triennium 2015-18.

Yoshihisa Yamamoto is the Director of PHI (Physics & Informatics) Laboratories, NTT Research, Inc. He received a B.S. degree from the Tokyo Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Tokyo in 1973 and 1978, respectively, and joined NTT Basic Research Laboratories in 1978. He became a Professor of Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering at Stanford University in 1992 and also a Professor at the National Institute of Informatics (NII) in 2003. He is currently a Professor (Emeritus) at Stanford University and NII. His past research areas include coherent communications, squeezed states, quantum non-demolition measurements, exciton-polariton BEC, single photon, spin-photon entanglement generation, and mesoscopic transport noise. He has received many distinctions for his past work, including the Carl Zeiss Award (1992), the Nishina Memorial Prize (1992), the IEEE/LEOS Quantum Electronics Award (2000), the Medal with Purple Ribbon (2005), Hermann A. Haus Lecturer of MIT (2010), Okawa Prize (2011) and Willis E. Lamb Award (2022). His current research interest focuses on quantum information processing, the physics of quantum-to-classical transition, and coherent Ising machines.

Claude Phipps earned B.S. and M.S. degrees at MIT, and a Ph.D. in plasma physics at Stanford in 1972 for completing their first laser-plasma interaction experiment, applying laser Thomson scattering to measure electron and ion velocity distributions. He worked in the Livermore ICF program, the Los Alamos laser program, then formed Photonic Associates, LLC in Santa Fe in 1995. He invented the "ORION" and "L'ADROIT", concepts for laser space debris re-entry and collaborated with Christophe Bonnal of CNES to develop the Just-in-time Collison Avoidance concept. He is author of 143 refereed scientific journal publications in laser applications and interaction theory and chair of the HPLA conferences in Santa Fe since 1998. He is the author or contributor to three books on laser interaction, plus a popular science book titled No Wonder you Wonder (Springer, 2016) to explain things like why birds aren't electrocuted when they sit on a high voltage wire.

Prof. Norma Susana Mankoc Borstnik was a full professor of Physics at the University of Ljubljana in 1986 and was, Founder and Director of Primorska Institute for Natural Sciences and Technology from 1999-to 2004. She was a visiting professor at Munchen, Trieste, Columbus, StonyBrook, Grenoble, and others and Lecturing: quantum mechanics, theoretical physics, Modern Physics, Classical Physics, and others. She was a mentor of 12 students and was an invited speaker at many international conferences. She worked on quantum mechanical problems in all fields of physics (nuclear physics, hadron physics, elementary particle physics, quantum computers), Her main success is her proposal of the Spin-Charge-Familytheory, the theory which is offering answers to all the open questions of the standard model of the elementary particle and fields, and so far also on many open questions of the Cosmology. Within this theory, she proposes a new way of the second quantization of fermions and bosons, bringing the explanation for Dirac's postulates of the second quantization of fields. She is devoting all her efforts to this project. This contribution of her is probably among the most important contributions to science if the experiments confirm her predictions. She was the co-organizer of several international conferences. Since 1998 she was the main organizer (one of three) of the annual international workshop ''What Comes Beyond the Models'' at Bled, this year will be the 25th workshop.

Ignatios Antoniadis, is a CNRS research director, at the "Centre de physique theorique" [Center for theoretic physics] of the Ecole Polytechnique. As from this year, he is a permanent member of the Theory Division of CERN in Geneva. His research has covered a vast area of theoretical physics of elementary particles, but he owes this silver medal especially to his work on the theory of supercords and to its phenomenological applications. This fascinating theory, which had already appeared in the seventies, postulates that the elementary components of matter are not point particles, but rather extended objects or "cords." Today, it offers the only hope of uniting the two great discoveries from the beginning of this century, namely general relativity and quantum mechanics. The work of the French team, in which Ignatios Antoniadis has played a very important role, concerns in particular the construction of theories of four-dimensional cords, and the possibility of testing them experimentally. The surprising consequences of these theories could lead to a modification in the gravitational forces over short distances, and even to the appearance of additional spatial dimensions on a microscopic scale. Ephraim Suhir is on the faculty of the Portland State University, Portland, OR, USA, Technical University, Vienna, Austria, and James Cook University, Queensland, Australia. He is also CEO of a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) ERS Co. in Los Altos, CA, USA, is a Foreign Full Member (Academician) of the National Academy of Engineering, Ukraine (he was born in that country); Life Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Society of Optical Engineers (SPIE), and the International Microelectronics and Packaging Society (IMAPS); Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS), the Institute of Physics (IoP), UK, and the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE); and Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Ephraim has authored 450+ publications (patents, technical papers, book chapters, books), presented numerous keynote and invited talks worldwide, and received many professional awards, including the 1996 Bell Laboratories Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) Award (for developing effective methods for predicting the reliability of complex structures used in AT&T and Lucent Technologies products), and 2004 ASME Worcester Read Warner Medal (for outstanding contributions to the permanent literature of engineering and laying the foundation of a new discipline Structural Analysis of Electronic Systems). Ephraim is the third Russian American, after S. Timoshenko and I. Sikorsky, who received this prestigious award. His most recent awards are the 2019 IEEE Electronic Packaging Society (EPS) Field award for seminal contributions to mechanical reliability engineering and modeling of electronic and photonic packages and systems and the 2019 Int. Microelectronic Packaging Society (IMAPS) Lifetime Achievement Award for making an exceptional, visible, and sustained impact on the microelectronics packaging industry and technology.

Gianpaolo Bellini is a Professor emeritus at the University of Milan and INFN emeritus scientist; he covered various INFN tasks and roles up to Vice President; he has been a member of the CIVR physics committee and founder and director of the European network ISAPP for 11 years; he is member of various academies and societies. Jean-Patrick CONNERADE is Emeritus Professor of Physics at Imperial College London, Honorary Professor at the East China University in Shanghai, and a permanent guest researcher at the WIPM Laboratory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is the President of the European Academy of Sciences Arts and Letters, which is connected with UNESCO. He is also a former president of EuroScience. As a poet, under the pen name Chaunes, he has published many books of both prose and verse in French. He was awarded the Jose-Maria de Heredia medal of the French Academy, the Paul Verlaine prize of the Maison de Poesie in Paris, and the Grand Prix de Poesie (Prix Victor Hugo) by the Society of French Poets.

Christopher Baddileyis a member of the international astronomical union, a fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, and a committee member of the Hereford and Worcester Institute of Physics. He is a recipient of the International Dark sky Association Galileo award and the BAA CFDs Joy Griffiths award. His first degree was at the University of Newcastle, then a doctorate at Imperial College London in the seventies on pioneering infrared astronomical instrumentation; then working at the Royal Observatory Edinburgh, and the University of Manchester astronomy department. Much of his career was on infrared cameras at the UK Ministry of Defence Royal Signals and Radar Establishment, which became QineitQ. This included the design of an experimental remote sensing infrared camera for a US research satellite. After retirement in 2006, his main project was the renovation of a house to green Energy Systems, continually monitoring; also building and running an observatory at the Malvern Hills area of outstanding natural beauty. He is well known for his voluntary work on light pollution, with continuous sky brightness records over eight years, to running an all sky camera, and doing statistical analysis and associated modeling of the effects of different types of lighting on the sky. He also runs his very popular astrophysics course including relativity and cosmology, voluntarily for the University of the Third Age.

David J. Moss is founding Director of the Optical Sciences Centre at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, and from 2016 to 2020 was Director of the Centre for Microphotonics at Swinburne. Before that he was with the University of Sydney and from 1998-2003 was a manager and senior scientist at JDS Uniphase in Ottawa Canada. He received his PhD from the University of Toronto in Physics and BSc from the University of Waterloo. He won the 2011 Australian Museum Eureka Science Prize and Google Australia Prize for Innovation in Computer Science. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, OSA and SPIE. His research interests include integrated nonlinear optics, optical microcombs, quantum optics, microwave photonics, optical neural networks, optical networks and transmission, 2D materials including graphene oxide for nonlinear optics, optical signal processing, nanophotonics, biomedical optics, and other areas.

Prof. Werner Blau joined Trinity College Dublin in 1983 after completing his doctorate at the university in his hometown Regensburg, Germany. Since 2003 he holds a Personal Chair of Physics of Advanced Materials. He is Honorary Professor in the Chemistry Department of East China University of Science and Technology; Visiting Honorary Professor, Northwest University, Xi'an, China; and was an Honoured Professor and China National High-end Foreign Expert at SIOM, Chinese Academy of Science. Prof. Blau is one of the Irish pioneers of nanotechnology. He is internationally well-known and highly cited for his original work in interdisciplinary nanoscience.

A.G.Ramm was born in USSR and immigrated to the USA in 1979. He is a US citizen, a professor of mathematics at KSU, and the author of more than 660 papers in mathematical and physical Journals, of 15 monographs, and an editor of 3 books. His scientific interests include differential and integral equations, operator theory, mathematical physics, especially scattering theory and inverse problems, numerical analysis, especially methods for solving ill-posed problems, various problems of applied mathematics, and theoretical engineering. Professor A.G.Ramm was awarded many honors, including Fulbright Research Professorships in Israel and Ukraine, Mercator Professorship, NATO and DAAD professorships and grants, Khwarizmi international award, distinguished professorships in some countries, and distinguished lectureships of London Mathematical Society and Hong Kong Mechanical society, and many other honors and awards. He gave invited plenary talks at many conferences throughout the world.

Yang Yue received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and optics from Nankai University, China, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, USA, in 2012. He is a Professor at the School of Information and Communications Engineering, Xi'an Jiao tong University, China. Dr. Yue's current research interest is intelligent photonics, including optical communications, optical perception, and optical chips. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed journal papers (including Science) and conference proceedings with >9,000 citations, five edited books, two book chapters, >50 issued or pending patents, >170 invited presentations (including 1 tutorial, >20 plenaries, and >30 keynote talks). Dr. Yue is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE). He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access and an Editor Board Member for three other scientific journals. C. Julian Chen received a PhD in Physics from Columbia University in 1985, and then joined the Department of Physical Sciences of IBM Watson Research Center. In 1993, he published Introduction to Scanning Tunneling Microscopy, and received a National Outstanding Book Award from China in 1997. From 1993 to 2003 he joined the Department of Human Language Technology of IBM Research. In 1998 he received an Outstanding Innovation Award from IBM for inventing practical recognition technology for Chinese speech. From 2004 to 2006 he was a Guest Scientist at Hamburg University. In 2007 he joined the Department of Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics at Columbia University. Fellow of the American Physical Society, M.A. Papa leads an independent research group at the MPI for Gravitational Physics in Hannover, Germany. She received her PhD in 1997 from the University of Rome, Italy. Her research focuses on gravitational wave astronomy, and in particular in searching the gravitational wave data for weak signals.

Dr. Mikhail Fistul has got his Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics in 1984 from the National University of Science and Technology MISiS, Moscow Russia. Dr. Mikhail Fistul kept research and teaching positions at internationally renowned scientific Institutes in Russia, the USA, Germany, Republic of Korea. Dr. Mikhail Fistul is one of the key participants of the European collaborative project: "SUPERGALAX: Highly sensitive detection of single microwave photons with a coherent quantum network of superconducting qubits for searching galactic axions". Susanne M Hoffmann has an academic background in astrophysics (graduated from University of Potsdam and Siegen, Germany) and history of astronomy (graduated from Universities of Hamburg and HU Berlin, Germany) with two diplomas and two doctoral degrees. She had been working in Mauretania, Portugal, and Indonesia in various types of astronomy. Currently, her research is based at the faculty of mathematics and computer science and the transdisciplinary Michael Stifel Center in Jena, Germany. She is engaged in the International Astronomical Union (IAU), especially as head of the Working Group Star Names.

Jose Garrigues-Baixauli received a Degree in Industrial Engineering and a Doctorate from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Valencia, Spain, in 1983 and 2013, respectively. Since 1990, he has been a member of the Electronic Engineering Department and a University Professor at the Higher Technical School of Telecommunications Engineering. He has also been a member of the Institute for Molecular Recognition and Technological Development, UPV. His main areas of interest are applications of artificial neural networks using microcontrollers and theoretical physics. Retired professor since 2015. Author of numerous articles on classical theoretical physics such as Discrete Model of Electron.

Dr. Wang obtained his Ph.D. in 2010 at Kyungpook National University in Korea, and studied and worked at MIT from 2016-2017 as a visiting scientist. He majors in high-energy physics for studying short-distance nuclear force and the structure-function of nucleons as well as the Y-N interaction in hypernuclear physics.

Dr. Elodie C. Strupiechonski is a CONACYT research fellow at CINVESTAV, Queretaro Unit since 2015, where she is the head of the Laboratory for Terahertz Optoelectronics. In 2017,she became the head of the National Laboratory LANCYTT (Laboratorio Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnologia de Terahertz) in Queretaro. Her research focuses on the design, realization and characterization of novel optoelectronic devices for a wide variety of applications in the mid-infrared and far-infrared spectral regions. She obtained her Master's degree in Fundamental and Applied Physics for Research from the University of Paris-Sud (France) in 2009 and her Ph.D. degree in Physics on "Extreme sub-wavelength confinement for terahertz quantum cascade lasers" under the supervision of Dr. Raffaele Colombelli at the Institut d Electronique Fondamentale, France, in 2013. She then joined the prestigious groups of Prof. Federico Capasso at Harvard University and of Prof. Marlan O. Scully at Baylor University as a postdoctoral fellow, where she designed devices for terahertz flat optics as well as on quantum coherence effects in solid-state lasers.

Professor Vladimir G. Chigrinov is a Professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology since 1999. He is an Expert in Flat Panel Technology in Russia, recognized by the World Technology Evaluation Centre, 1994, and SID Fellow since 2008. John Sinko earned a B.S. (2003) in chemistry and mathematics from Furman University and completed an M.S. (2005) and Ph.D. (2008) in physics at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in the field of laser propulsion. After graduation, he worked at NASA MSFC for Kratos Defense to develop a fiber-optic laser detector and is a co-inventor of this device. Additional postdoctoral work on laser propulsion was performed with the Global Center of Excellence in Micro-NanoMechatronics at Nagoya University in 2009. John taught with the Ohio State University - Newark in 2010-2011, and since 2012, has taught physics, optics, and materials science at Saint Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota, USA. His research is in laser removal of space debris, laser tractor beams, laser ablation propulsion, and thermochromic materials.

Dr. Stefan Scharring studied physics at the University of Freiburg, Germany, where he received his diploma degree in 2000. From the University of Stuttgart, Germany, he received his Ph.D. degree in aerospace engineering in 2013 for his thesis on laser-thermal propulsion. He works as a laser scientist at DLR in the field of numerical modeling. His expertise comprises numerical simulations on laser-matter interaction in the fields of laser propulsion and space debris remediation. Moreover, laser safety aspects as well as weather analysis for outdoor laser, operations have been part of his expertise in recent studies.

Dr. Ciro D'Amico is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology of Jean Monnet University in Saint-Etienne, France. He studied Physics at Pisa University in Italy, where he obtained a Master's Degree in 2004. In 2007 he received a Ph.D. in Physics from Ecole Polytechnique, France. He works as a researcher in the Laser-Matter Interaction (ILM) group of Hubert CurienLaboratory (LabHC) in Saint-Erienne, France. His main fields of expertise are ultrafast laser processing of glasses for 3D micro/nano photonic applications and time-resolved spectroscopy and imaging. In 2012, he started a collaboration with the Institute of Planetology and Astrophysics of Grenoble (IPAG), working on ultrafast laser-written integrated compact photonic detectors (spectrometers, interferometers) in bulk glasses for applications in Astrophotonics.

Fabiano Feleppa graduated in Physics at the University of Trieste (Italy) and he is now affiliated with Utrecht University (Netherlands). He recently started working on astrophysical applications of structured light fields. Indeed, even though the orbital angular momentum of the electromagnetic field has been studied for more than a century starting from the works of Maxwell, Poynting and Abraham, in more recent years it has been realized that this property of light can carry much more information than commonly believed. In particular, Feleppa's current research focuses on observing and understanding the nature and properties of black holes, starting from their observed twisted light. Very recently, together with his collaborators, he received an "Honorable Mention" in the Gravity Research Foundation Essay Competition, 2021.

Prof. Yang Li graduated from the Harbin Institute of technology with a Ph.D. degree and is currently working at Liaoning Petrochemical University. He mainly engaged in renewable energy utilization, oil and gas storage and transportation process analysis, high-temperature coupled heat transfer, solar thermal conversion, and light-heat-radiation transfer. He presided over one project for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one project for the Young Scientific and Technological talents of Liaoning Provincial Department of Education, and one research fund for Introducing Talents. He participated in one key project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, one key project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and many enterprise projects. He published more than 20 academic papers, of which 16 were included in SCI, with a cumulative IF>70 and more than 110 citations in SCI. He has authorized 4 invention patents (including 2 National Defense invention patents). He is a member of the China Society of Engineering Thermophysics. His research results are jointly reported by Science Trends and Google News.

Francisco Rivas Garcia obtained a degree in Physics from the University of Granada in 2014. He later completed his doctoral thesis at the Institute of Space Sciences of Catalonia on the LISA Pathfinder mission. Specifically, as a member of the mission's scientific team, he worked on the analysis of several experiments carried out during that mission, especially thermal experiments. After finishing his doctorate in 2019, he did a post-doctorate at the Physics department of the University of Trento. In this period, he carried out experimental activities to test subsystems of LISA using the torsion pendulum of the experimental gravitation group. Currently, he is a professor in the Department of Quantitative Methods at Universidad Loyola Andalucia.

Mrs. Padmaja Kuruba holds a Bachelor degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Master's in Technology in Digital Electronics and her Ph.D. in Satellite Networks. She has over 19 years of experience in Industry and Academia. She has worked with Larsen and Tubro (L&T) Infotech, Cisco system, Mindtree Limited, and Kyocera Wireless Limited. He has been Community Rate Winner of the 2013 FQXi ssay Contest with a paper that solves the black hole information paradox which has been subsequently published in Annal of Physics. In October 2013 he has been awarded a Certificate of Honor by the Nagpur University in recognition and grateful appreciation for his research contributions in the fields of black holes and gravitational waves. In September 2014, at the 12th International Conference of Numerical Analysis and Applied Mathematics, he was awarded by the European Society of Computational Methods in Sciences, Engineering, and Technology with its Highest Distinction of Honorary Fellowship for his outstanding results in Applied Mathematics. He was an author and/or co-author of more than 150 scientific papers published in international peer-reviewed specialistic journals in the fields of mathematics, theoretical physics, astrophysics, and cosmology. Dr. Xiao Dong Li's research fields include the large-scale structure of the universe, cosmological analysis of galaxy survey data, dark energy theory and observation, and gravitational waves. Together with my collaborators, he developed the so-called "tomographic Alcock Kaczynski test", which has achieved great success in analyzing the cosmological information encoded on the scale of non-linear clustering. He also developed the so-called "Beta-Skeleton" method to study the cosmic web. In recent years, he also studied the application of machine learning techniques to cosmic parameter estimation and cosmic velocity field reconstruction.

Changguo Wang is a tenured professor at the Center for Composite Materials, National Key Laboratory of Science and Technology on Advanced Composites in Special Environments, School of Astronautics at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), and China. Professor Wang was born in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China. He received a B.S. degree in Engineering Management from Shenyang Jianzhu University, China in 2002; the M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Engineering Mechanics from Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2004 and 2007, respectively. Wang was a visiting scholar at the Institute of Lightweight Structures, Technische University Munchen in Munich in 2009. His current research interests are focused on the mechanics of flexible structures and their applications in the field of aerospace spacecraft and aircraft, new energy resources, functional devices, etc. Professor Wang currently serves as a member of the council of the Society of Mechanics and Society of Composite of Heilongjiang Province and a member of the young working committee of the Chinese society for composite materials. He is a senior member of the Chinese society of theoretical and applied mechanics, and a member of AIAA, IASS, IJAM, and Shell Buckling. He is on the Editorial Board of Front. Mater. Rami Ahmad El-Nabulsi holds a Ph.D. in Particle Physics, Mathematical Physics, and Modeling from Provence University (currently Aix-Marseille University), France, and a diploma of advanced studies in Plasma Physics and Radiation Astrophysics from the same institution. He worked with different worldwide research departments in the UK, South Korea, China, Greece, Thailand, India, etc. and he is currently affiliated with Chiang Mai University, Thailand. He is the author of more than 285 peer-reviewed papers in peer-refereed reputed journals and a reviewer for more than 100 scientific journals. His research ranges from applied mathematics to theoretical physics including nonlinear dynamical systems, space and astrophysics, general relativity and geometrical physics, physics and chemistry of solids, plasma MHD, neutronics, and nuclear reactors, superconductivity, and magnetic materials among others.

Yusuke Nakamura is a designated assistant professor at the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Nagoya University. His research interests are electric propulsion and compressible flow.

Indrani Banerjee did her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and post-doctoral studies at S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences and the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science. Presently she is a faculty member at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, NIT Rourkela. She works on theoretical and observational aspects of black hole physics. Her research interest lies in discerning signatures of alternative gravity models from astrophysical and cosmological observations.

Mikael is currently as postdoc at Utrecht University, The Netherlands, where he studies topologically ordered material and non-fermi liquids. His current interests include topological insulators on lattice models with fractal symmetries. Dr. Mikael Fremling received his Ph.D. from Stockholm University, Sweden, in 2015 with a thesis on variational wave functions in the Fractional Quantum Hall effect. After that he was a postdoc- researcher at Maynooth University, Ireland between 2015-2018, where he continued to study strongly correlated matter, before relocating to his present institute. Mikael is an expert in numerical methods, including large-scale diagonalization and Monte Carlo techniques.

Prof. Pralay Kumar Karmakar completed his Ph.D. from the Centre of Plasma Physics - Institute for Plasma Research (CPP-IPR), Guwahati, India. The award was conferred by Gauhati University, India. He joined the Tezpur University of India as an Assistant Professor in its Department of Physics. He is interested in diversified emerging research areas, such as Astrophysical plasmas, cosmic fluid dynamics, Stability analyses of complex media, Nonlinear dynamics, etc. Six scholars have earned Ph.D. degrees under him. He has very good publications in different reputed journals, books, etc. He has been serving as an editorial board member in several globally reputed scientific journals for a couple of years.

El Gheteb Soueidi received a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics, from the Moulay Ismail University, Meknes, Morocco (2012), an M.Sc. degree in Stochastic Analysis from the University of Tunis El Manar, Tunis, Tunisia (2014), and his Ph.D. from Tunisia Polytechnic School, Tunis, Tunisia (2020). He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sciences and Technologies of Nouakchott, University of Nouakchott Al-aasriya, Nouakchott, Mauritania. His research is situated in the field of Quantum Probability, with a special focus on quantum Markov chains and fields over C *-algebras and more generally over *-algebras.

Mudassar Nauman was born in Jhang, Pakistan in 1988. He received his BS degree in Telecommunication Engineering in 2013 from National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES), Pakistan. In 2013 he was awarded graduate scholarship by University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Taxila. In 2017, he received fully funded scholarship titled Chief Minister Merit Scholarship to pursue his PhD studies at Australian National University, Australia. Working as a lecturer and research assistant at different universities in Pakistan, he worked on UWB-MIMO antennas, 3-D antennas and RF/microwave periodic structures including reflect arrays and Frequency Selective Surfaces. He also worked on optical/solar nano antennas for energy harvesting applications. He published many articles in globally renowned peer-reviewed scientific journals and conferences. Moreover, he worked as research assistant on a project titled ‘MM- wave Integration and Embedded Antennas in System-in-Package - Work Package 1, 2, 3 fully funded by Sony, Gmbh, Germany. In this project, he employed state of the art technology Embedded wafer level ball grid array (eWLB), introduced by Infineon, and solved the very challenging problem associated with the application of eWLB at industry level. Related to this project, he holds three US patents with Sony. Currently, he is doing his PhD at ARC Center of Excellence for Transformative Meta-Optical Systems (TMOS) at The Australian National University, Australia. Working as PhD student, first time ever! he has invented an array of high-index single-crystal van der Waals (vdW) layered meta-atoms (1/1000 times thinner than human hair), which can tune the unidirectional second ordered nonlinear emissions in forward or backward direction. His research work focused on nano-manufacturing technologies and enhancement of nanoscale light-matter interactions with very high index vdW layered materials such as MoS2, WS2, WSe2, and MoSe2. He is serving as reviewer for several journals including, IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, Journal of Applied Physics and Microwave and Optical Technology Letters.
