Prof. Shaobin Wang obtained the degrees of BSc and MSc in Chemistry from Peking University and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Queensland. He has been a John Curtin Distinguished Professor at Curtin University and is now a Professor at the School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials, the University of Adelaide. His research interests focus on nanomaterial synthesis and application for adsorption and catalysis, fuel and energy conversion, and environmental remediation. He has published more than 500 refereed journal papers with citations over 51000and H-index= 127 (Google Scholar). He was awarded the 2012 Thomson Reuters Citation & Innovation Awards in Australia and is listed as a highly cited researcher in Engineering and Chemistry in 2016-2020. He is a co-editor of Journal of Colloid and Interface and associate editor of Chemical Engineering Journal Advances as well as an editorial board member of several international journals.
Brian Cantor is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Materials at the University of Oxford and a Research Professor in the Brunel Centre for Advanced Solidification Technology at Brunel University. He was previously Vice-Chancellor of the University of York and of Bradford University, Head of Mathematical and Physical Sciences at the University of Oxford, a research scientist and engineer at General Electric Research Labs in the USA, and worked briefly at Banaras Hindu University, Washington State, Northeastern, IISc Bangalore and the Kobe Institute. He founded and built up the World Technology Universities Network, the UK National Science Learning Centre, the Hull-York Medical School, and Oxford s Begbroke Science Park. He was a long-standing consultant for Alcan, NASA, and Rolls-Royce, and editor of Progress in Materials Science. Len Gelman, Ph.D., Dr. of Sciences (Habilitation)joined HuddersfieldUniversity as a Professor, Chair in Signal Processing/Condition Monitoring, and Director of Centre for Efficiency and Performance Engineering, in 2017 from Cranfield University, where he worked as Professor and Chair in Vibro-Acoustical Monitoring since 2002. Len developed novel condition monitoring technologies for aircraft engines, gearboxes, bearings, turbines, and centrifugal compressors. Len published more than250 publications, 17 patents, and is Co-Editor of 12Springer books. Dr. Qiao joined the School of Chemical Engineering of the University of Adelaide (UoA) in March 2012 as a professor (the inaugural Chair of Nanotechnology). He is the founding Director of the Centre for Materials in Energy and Catalysis (CMEC). His research expertise is in nanomaterials for new energy technologies (electrocatalysis, photocatalysis, batteries, fuel cell). He has co-authored more than 446 papers in refereed journals, including Nature, Nature Energy, Nature Chemistry, Nature Materials, Nature Catalysis, Nature Communications, Science Advances, Angew Chem Int Ed, J. Am. Chem. Soc, Advanced Materials (over 84,500 citations, h-index: 152). Dr. Lunyong Zhang is currently an associate professor of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) with general research interests in the preparation craft and novel properties characterization as well as their artificial modulation of quantum materials single crystal and thin filmswith nontrivial magnetic and electronic structures. Before joining HIT in May 2020, he was an associated researcher at the Max-Planck-POSTECH center for complex phase materials of Pohang University of Science and Technology, Korea and a visit scientist ofthe MaxPlanck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids, Germany. Dept. at Nanjing University, and from November in 2008 to October in 2011, he was the Dean of the School of Life Sciences at Shanghai University. Mohammad Mehdi Rashidi is born in Hamedan, Iran in 1972. He received his Ph.D. degree from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran in 2002. He is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering (from Bu-Ali University, 2014), he works at Tongji University in Shanghai. He has published two books: Advanced Engineering Mathematics with Applied Examples of MATHEMATICA Software (2007) (320 pages) (in Persian), and Mathematical Modelling of Nonlinear Flows of Micropolar Fluids (Germany, Lambert Academic Press, 2011). Dr. Feng-Huei Lin was born in 1957 in Taiwan. He obtained his BS degree in the Department of Earth Sciences, National Cheng Kung university (NCKU), Taiwan, in 1980. In early 1990, Dr. Lin was recruited as an associate professor in the Centre for Biomedical Engineering, College of Medicine, National Taiwan University (NTU); where he started his academic career. In 1997, he was promoted to full professor. He organized to set up the Institute of Biomedical Engineering in NTU and served as acting director in the institute (1997-1999). Afterward, Dr. Lin was invited to be the first director in the Department of Biomedical Engineering of NTU-hospital with an engineering background (2003-2005). Then he returned to the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, NTU, as director (2005-2008). Assigned by National Science Council, Taiwan Dr. Lin made the budget allocation and future 10-year financial plan as the Convenor of Biomedical Division (2006-2009). Then Dr. Lin transferred to the Division of Biomedical Engineering, National Health Research Institutes (NHRI), as the director and took charge of the development of biomaterials and tissue engineering (2008-2012). Now, he is the distinguished professor in NTU, chair professor at National Taipei University of Technology, executive editor of Journal of Biomedical Engineering, an International fellow of International College of Biomaterials Sciences and Engineering, Fellow, The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).
Matteo Tonezzer won the Young Scientist Award 2011 by the European Materials Research Society. He worked in research centers in France (ESRF), Brazil (UFMG), Vietnam (HUST), Italy (INFM, CNR), South Korea (INHA University), and the USA (GeorgiaTech). He is currently working for IMEM-CNR. His main area of interest concerns the sensing properties of nanostructured materials and machine learning to make them smart.

Mohd Sapuan Salit (S.M.Sapuan) is a professor (A grade) of composite materials at the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Head of Laboratory of Biocomposite Technology, INTEROP, UPM. His research interests include natural fiber composites, biopolymer composite packaging, concurrent engineering for composites, conceptual design for composites, design for sustainability, and materials selection for composites. He is a Professional Engineer, a Society of Automotive Engineers Fellow, an Academy of Science Malaysia Fellow, a Plastic and Rubber and Institute Malaysia Fellow, a Malaysian Scientific Association Fellow, and an International Biographical Association and an Institute of Material Malaysia Fellow. He is an Honorary Member and past Vice President of Asian Polymer Association based in IIT Delhi and Founding Chairman and Honorary Member of Society of Sugar Palm Development and Industry, Malaysia. He is the co-editor-in-chief of Functional Composites and Structures and a member of more than two dozen editorial boards. To date, he has authored or co-authored more than 1800 publications including over 950 journal papers, 50 books, and 175 chapters in the book. Besides, he has delivered 48 plenary and keynote lectures, delivered over 150 invited lectures, organized 29 journal special issues as a guest editor, presented over 500 technical articles in conferences and seminars, reviewed over 1100 journal papers, and has 8 patents to his credits. Dr. Omid Akbarzadeh Pivehzhani is working with Nanotechnology and Catalysis Research Centre since 2016. His main research area is heterogeneous catalysis and catalytic reaction engineering. He has spent 10 years in academic-industrial projects as a research officer and post-doctoral. Dr. Omid has worked for 5 years in the oil and gas industry as a chemical engineer. He developed advanced smart catalysts, especially for the oil and gas industries. Dr. Omid has contributed to two PETRONAS Research Sdn Bhd industrial catalyst projects and worked on an international Airbus R&D project in NANOCAT. Currently, he is the PI of the graphene catalyst project at Hokkaido University in Japan, a project member of the FRGS grant in UTP, and assigned to the NANOCAT center project. Dr. Omid was the Chairman, keynote speaker, and organizing committee of many international conferences. He is currently the supervisor of three Ph.D. students from different countries. He has published many ISI papers; book chapters and has two approved and granted patents. Also, he has hands-on experience and passed several pieces of training on handling different types of equipment that are being widely used for material synthesis, characterization, and performance evaluation. He is in close collaboration with other departments, government agencies, and universities around the world. He is visiting researcher of Jiangsu University China and Hokkaido University Japan. He is a member of the society of petroleum engineers (SPE) and a Senior Member of the Hong Kong Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society. Omid was awarded a full fellowship from UTP during their Ph.D. and was involved as a lab demonstrator and teaching in the different courses of chemical engineering. He was awarded Silver Medal in 27th International Invention & Innovation Exhibition (ITEX 2016), Kuala Lumpur Convention Center in Malaysia, and Silver Medal of Post Graduate Research Project in the 35th Science & Engineering Design Exhibition (SEDEX 35).
